One on One with the Jervelle Knows Fashion

What does Fashion mean to you?
JKF:  Fashion has always played integral role in my life. I have always envisioned fashion as a means expression and liberation. Fashion is a gateway to unleash the shackles of main stream... it is self preservation.

Who inspired you to delve into the boulders of this niche society?
JKF:  I have some very strong influences in my life: my wife continues to astonish me with her varied tastes and trend setting fortitude,  my eccentric mother who championed herself by assuring her children were always neatly groomed and dressed, my father introduced me to David Eden's alligator shoes and the importance of how every man should own at least one expensive pair.

Why is your focus to highlight the importance of Men's fashions?
JKF: Throughout my years of working on Rodeo Drive and styling media spotlights, I was particularly outraged with the androgynous appearance of men's fashion.  The clothes did not speak masculinity nor bravado. I want to put men in expensive and stylish clothing without jeopardizing their confidence. Overall, the sole benefit of a man to go the extra mile to looking his best is to impress his significant other.[Laughs] "They come runnin' just as fast as they can, coz' every girls crazy 'bout a sharp dress man.." ZZ Top.
